Jennifer Drewing

Jennifer Drewing began her career in fitness in 1996. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Jennifer used her degree in Fitness and Nutrition to become a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and an ACE clinical exercise specialist.

A spine injury led her to a different approach to exercise. In 1998, Jennifer began studying Pilates. After over 500 hours of combined lecture, practicial and personal practice, she became a certified Pilates instructor through Polestar Education.

In 2000, Jennifer opened Functional Fitness, now Pilates for Every Body, a fully equipped Pilates studio specializing in fitness for the mind, body and spirit. The studio offers private, semi-private and small group classes.

Jennifer was selected by Balanced Body University in 2007, as a teach trainer and mentor, allowing her to pass on her experience and knowledge to those seeking to become future Pilates instructors.

Recently, Jennifer was asked to apprentice Lolita San Miguel, as Pilateselder and one of only two people ever certified by Joseph Pilates himself. Jennifer will spend two years with Ms. San Miguel, deepening her knowledge about Pilates.
