Pilates is a series of controlled movements engaging both the mind and body. The movements are performed on specifically designed exercise apparatuses and supervised by an extensively trained instructor.
More than 500 exercises using five different apparatuses are used to develop the body uniformly. Exercises are performed using fewer, more precise movements, requiring proper control and form. Because the mind is required to work with your body to perform the movements correctly, a new awareness of muscle function and control is experienced.

Pilates for Every Body designs and conducts one-on-one sessions on the Mat, Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair and Ladder Barrel.
The initial appointment includes a fitness screening, a postural evaluation and functional testing.
Each additional class will emphasize exercise progression of original Pilates exercises.
Each full session is 50 minutes. Small group machine classes are available, as well as traditional mat classes and mat classes utilizing the stability ball, magic circle, foam roller and other apparatuses. Class sizes are small allowing the participants to receive proper instruction.
